Some Harry Potter fans couldn't quite believe their eyes when they saw how grown-up and "gorgeous" series star Bonnie Wright has become while teasing her latest project.
The 34-year-old teamed up with Pattie Gonia, acritically acclaimed artist, environmentalist and drag queen, according to their bio, for a conscientious new project that has fans hyped.
"a ginger who grew up watching harry potter and fights for climate," text over a clip of the drag queen, whose real name is Wyn Wiley, shaking hands with an unseen individual, read.
The camera flipped to show Wright on the other side of the handshake, with the caption updating to read, "a ginger who grew up in harry potter and fights for climate."
The two lip-synced to the song in the background, a viral TikTok sound from the track "Illegal" by PinkPantheress, as the caption changed again. "they combine ginger forces and make a TV show about climate solutions," it continued. "hey oooooooooo it feels illegal."
"our show 'go gently' is OUT NOW on prime (USA) & hbo max (Europe)," Pattie Gonia shared excitedly on the social media platform this weekend.
Per IMDb, the series finds the pair "on a journey of discovery as they travel a scenic road trip from LA to Portland to learn how communities along the route are inspiring eco-friendly practices to the way we eat, shop and travel," and fans could not be more excited for the new project from the former child star.
"We all knew Ginny was is and will be a baddie," one fan applauded, while others gushed over the unexpected pairing.
"CROSSOVER OF THE CENTURY," one exclaimed, while another admitted, "Woah didn't see this pairing coming! How cool!"
"I can't believe you two didn't call it 'go gingerly,'" someone else quipped.
Several couldn't help but fawn over Wright's grown-up appearance, with one mourning, "why does time go by so fast!"
"Oh my GOD Bonnie is so gorgeous," one fan complimented, while another reply read, "Some people just age flawlessly."
