Adam Sandler is a proud family man!
On Monday, July 21, the actor, 58, had the support of his wife, Jackie, 50, and their two daughters, Sadie, 19, and Sunny, 16, as he walked the red carpet at the New York City premiere of his new film, Happy Gilmore 2.
Adam wore his usual laid-back "Sandlercore" attire to attend the event, donning a bright patterned shirt, salmon-colored shorts and white and blue sneakers.
Meanwhile, Jackie opted for a long black Giambattista Valli gown featuring a floral neckline, while Sadie and Sunny also chose casual chic outfits for the bash, with the eldest daughter wearing a black top and baggy jeans, while Sunny donned a white T-shirt and jeans.

While speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the premiere, which was held at the Jazz at Lincoln Center, Adam chatted about working alongside his family. He's starred alongside his wife and daughters in multiple movies, including Netflix film Leo, and his girls make an appearance in the forthcoming sequel to 1996's Happy Gilmore.
"Love them. Your heart feels good. You're pulling for 'em while you're working with them," Sandler says.

"My wife and I have a nice, when we make eye contact, we lock in, so we use that when we're acting," he continues. "Sometimes it looks a little weird that we're falling in love and it doesn't make sense to our characters."
"But we do have a nice attraction for each other and my kids couldn't be prouder of whatever they're working [on] and going after whatever they want. I'm just always pulling for them, like every parent," Sandler, who married Jackie in 2003, tells PEOPLE.

Sandler's latest comments about working with his family come after he told E! News of teaming up with his daughters on certain projects, "Oh my god, you're just relieved. Once they do it well, nothing feels better as a parent."
"It must be like when you're the parents of a baseball player and you're at the game and they get a hit. You just go, 'Thank god.' It's just so much relief," he added.
Sandler's Happy Gilmore 2 has been almost three decades in the making, and he said during an appearance on Good Morning America on Monday that fans have never stopped asking for a sequel.

He told GMA co-anchor Michael Strahan of why he decided to bring the beloved titular golfer out of retirement now, "When I walk down the street a lotta times people will say, 'You ever gonna do Happy Gilmore 2?' And for 28 years, I was like, 'What are you talking about? No.'"
"And then all of a sudden," he said, "I was like, 'Maybe.'"
Happy Gilmore 2 will be released on Netflix on July 25.
