We thought Harry Styles was busy in the studio — turns out he's been training on the tracks.
Over the weekend, the English singer-songwriter was spotted among some 55,000 runners who took part in the 2025 Berlin Marathon, per the Associated Press. Organizers confirmed his participation to news agency DPA after local newspaper Der Tagesspiegel was the first to report his presence.
In an effort to minimize any attention on himself, Styles opted out of signing up with his own name and instead ran the Sunday race under the pseudonym Sted Sarandos (a play on the name of Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos) while wearing a headband and sunglasses.

The 31-year-old managed an impressive achievement with his run, completing the route in 2 hours, 59 minutes, and 13 seconds. A sub-three-hour marathon is a coveted mark for many marathon runners. Sabastian Sawe of Kenya won the marathon, finishing in 2 hours, 2 minutes, and 16 seconds, while Japan's Akira Akasaki finished second at 2 hours, 6 minutes, and 15 seconds.
The former One Direction star also appeared in a photo shared on Instagram by Paralympic athlete and gold medalist Richard Whitehead. "2.58 in Berlin with my mate," Whitehead wrote, joking "Anyone know him!!" with a laughing emoji.
The Berlin Marathon, part of the six Abbott World Marathon Majors, is one of the largest and most renowned marathons in the world. It's known for being one of the flattest courses, demanding a quicker pace. Styles and his fellow competitors dashed past some of the Germany capital's most famed monuments, including the Victory Column, the Potsdamer Platz, and the Brandenburg Gate.
This also wasn't Styles' first time participating in an Abbott World Marathon Major: in March, the "Watermelon Sugar" singer ran the Tokyo Marathon. He completed the course in under three-and-a-half hours, besting more than 20,000 other runners. But with his performance at Berlin, Styles has now beat his own personal best.

Other stars who have shown off on the track include Colin Farrell, who clocked 3:53:14 at the Brisbane Marathon in 2021, Jennifer Connelly, who finished in 3:45:47 at the 2024 New York City Marathon, and former Bachelor Matt James, who clocked 3:00:41 at the 2024 London Marathon.

Should Styles get tired of running in one direction, he can always jog back to the studio as fans are excitedly awaiting his fourth album following the massive success of 2022's *Harry's House*, which garnered numerous accolades, including Grammy Awards for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical.**
