Whatever your feelings on AI, we can all get behind the wild shenanigans of our meme-worthy, dancing mechanical wonder girl M3GAN.
The sci-fi sequel "M3GAN 2.0" is among a batch of new movies hitting your favorite streaming services like Netflix, Apple TV+, Peacock, and Hulu. There are theatrical releases that you might have been waiting for to come home, including the long-awaited sequel to "28 Days Later," but definitely keep your eyes out for the original stuff, too, including a romantic flick with "Ted Lasso" standout Brett Goldstein and a modern take on a Bible love story.

'All of You'
Brett Goldstein and Imogen Poots play college best friends who weigh whether to be something more in the romantic drama "All of You."
In the romantic drama, Simon (Brett Goldstein) brings best friend Laura (Imogen Poots) to take a innovative test that determines your soulmate. That interesting sci-fi bit is thrown out quickly to get faster to the emotional stuff, as Laura starts a family, he has strong feelings for her, and their situation creates tenderness and tumult over the years.

'Elio'
Space fan Elio (voiced by Yonas Kibreab, left) finds himself on a cosmic misadventure where he bonds with eccentric aliens like Glordon (voice of Remy Edgerly), a tender-hearted princeling, in Pixar's animated "Elio."
With its latest original outing, Pixar throws back to the 1980s days of "Explorers" and "The Last Starfighter." A young boy (voiced by Yonas Kibreab) yearns to be abducted by aliens, actually gets his wish and becomes BFFs with a blobby alien. Best for a kid who's never seen "E.T."

'Ice Road: Vengeance'
Liam Neeson (with Fan Bingbing) reprises his role as a heroic trucker in the action sequel "Ice Road: Vengeance."
Liam Neeson is now moonlighting as a "Naked Gun" guy but he's still rocking his action side, too. The sequel to his enjoyably over-the-top "The Ice Road" returns Leeson's heroic ice road trucker Mike McCann on a personal journey to Mount Everest, and while on deadly terrain, he has to save a tour bus full of passengers from pesky mercenaries.

'The Man in My Basement'
Corey Hawkins stars as a financially strapped man on the verge of losing his ancestral home when he accepts a bizarre proposition from a stranger to clear his debts in the thriller "The Man in My Basement."
Unemployed and financially strapped, Charles (Corey Hawkins) is about to lose his home when an enigmatic man (Willem Dafoe) shows up at his door, wanting to rent his basement for a few months and willing to pay handsomely. The thriller takes an unsettling turn for both men, as the narrative digs into race, trauma and evil.

'M3GAN 2.0'
M3GAN tries to show her inventor Gemma (Allison Williams) that she's had some personal growth in the sci-fi sequel "M3GAN 2.0"
While the original "M3GAN" was a proudly satirical cautionary tale, the sequel goes the way of goofy action flick. An earlier model of the killer girl 'bot was turned into a lethal weapon by the military but has gone rogue, and M3GAN's inventor (Allison Williams) needs to give the original a super-duper upgrade to stop the deadly newcomer.

'Ruth & Boaz'
A Tennessee winemaker (Tyler Lepley) falls for a gifted musician (Serayah McNeill) who can't escape her past in the romantic drama "Ruth & Boaz."
The biblical love story gets a predictable but uplifting retelling with this romantic drama. After the death of her boyfriend, Atlanta singer Ruth (Serayah McNeill) quits her hip-hop group, moves to Tennessee and gets a job harvesting grapes. She meets and falls for winemaker Boaz (Tyler Lepley), though demons from her past soon follow.

'Smurfs'
Ken (voiced by Nick Offerman, far left), Ron (Kurt Russell) and Papa Smurf (John Goodman) are brothers who can throw down in "Smurfs."
The latest incarnation of the little blue cartoon folks is an animated musical adventure with bouncy dance numbers and a plot involving the search for a Smurfnapped Papa Smurf (voiced by John Goodman). Rihanna voices Smurfette, who tries to help No Name (James Corden) find his special "thing," while Kurt Russell plays Papa Smurf's manly bro Ken.

'Superman'
Superman (David Corenswet) saves a young girl from exploded debris in "Superman."
The best screen Superman since the iconic Christopher Reeve, David Corenswet imbues his hero with joy and optimism in an enjoyable adventure that opens up the new DC universe in a big way. Kudos also to Nicholas Hoult for being an inspired choice for nervy and smarmy supervillain tech bro Lex Luthor.

'Swiped'
Lily James stars as Whitney Wolfe Herd, a co-founder of Tinder who went on to create Bumble in the drama "Swiped."
The true-life drama stars Lily James as Whitney Wolfe Herd, a self-made billionaire on the ground floor of Tinder's success. After being made a social media pariah, she has a comeback founding the female-forward dating app Bumble. A decent biopic with modern relevance as it explores toxic masculinity and tech-bro misogyny.

'28 Years Later'
Jamie (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and his son Spike (Alfie Williams) run from the infected in "28 Years Later."
Unnerving and bonkers, the sequel to "28 Days Later" centers on a young boy (Alfie Williams) who ventures to a landscape forever changed by a rage virus in a quest to help his sick mom. It works as a scary movie while also being a thoughtful exploration of family, tribalism and remembering the dead.
