Selena Gomez's mother Mandy Teefey is ready to set the record straight regarding her daughter's recent wedding to producer Benny Blanco.

Amid rumors and reports that Teefey, 49, was hurt that the "Hands to Myself" singer chose to have her grandfather, David Michael Cornett, walk her down the aisle rather than Teefey herself, the producer and entrepreneur clarified that she was, in fact, an ardent supporter of the decision.

"This is ludacris (sic)! It was heartwarming [to see] him walk her down the aisle!" Teefey commented on a post shared to the *Page Six* Instagram account that referenced a story published Saturday, claiming that Teefey was "shattered" by the "snub."

The following day, Teefey doubled down on her endorsement of the heartwarming grandfatherly tribute at the Santa Barbara ceremony.

"What a perfect celebration for the most kick ass couple I know! The evening couldn't have been more beautiful and perfect! Absolutely flawless!" she wrote in an Instagram post that shared a screenshot of her daughter's own post sharing the first pictures of the event. "All my love to my beautiful daughter [Selena Gomez] and to the greatest son in law [Benny Blanco]!!! It was a fairytale come true and it was beyond heartwarming watching my father walk her down the aisle!!!"****

The original report cited by *Page Six *came from an "insider" who spoke to *The Daily Mail *on Saturday, which additionally referred to Gomez as a "bridezilla."

"I married a real life disney princess" Blanco wrote in the caption of a post that included images of Sunday's intimate ceremony. In one, Gomez and Blanco interlace their hands, showing off their wedding bands. In another, they perch on a couch, relaxed in full, formal wedding attire.

Gomez and Blanco dated for two years before tying the knot, but first worked together as far back as 2015 on the songs "Same Old Love" and "Kill Em With Kindness," off Gomez's second album, *Revival*. The ceremony was attended by some of the couple's famous pals, including Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, both of whom gave speeches. ********
