Jessie Cave says her time in the Wizarding World might be over, all because of the stigma surrounding OnlyFans.

The *Harry Potter* actress, who played Lavender Brown across the franchise's final three films, recently took to her self-titled Substack to share that she was barred from attending a fan convention after launching her OnlyFans page.

"I found out that I didn't get booked for a *Harry Potter *convention recently, as I'm now doing OnlyFans," she wrote in a September 17 post. "They explained it was because it's a 'family show and OnlyFans is affiliated with porn.' This was baffling to me as some actors who do conventions (most actors, actually) have done TV and films in which they've done sex scenes and nudity. I'm just playing with my hair!"

In March, Cave announced that she was launching an OnlyFans page that would feature "hair stuff." She went on to promise "the best quality hair sounds" and "very sensual stuff."

Though the actress says the content of her page has led to her being "canceled" from the *Harry Potter* fandom, she made it clear that she isn't mourning her time in the franchise. Cave reasoned that she has enjoyed her years as Lavender Brown and is ready to pass the baton to the next generation.

"I am not upset about the prospect of no more *Harry Potter* conventions," Cave wrote. "There's going to be a new cast now, and it's a different time. Plus, I have done conventions for over 15 years and have enough photos and wizard memorabilia."

She added, "Excessively quirky one woman shows with puppets aren't that lucrative, and some years, the money I got from signing photos of my face was the only real money I made. I am very lucky I got to do them. It's time to move on and play some new characters."

While OnlyFans is largely associated with adult content, Cave has maintained that her page is "not a sexual one." While discussing the subject on her *Before We Break Up Again *podcast, she clarified that it does appeal to those with hair fetishes but added, "fetish doesn't necessarily mean sexual."

She also got candid about the motivation behind the page on Substack, writing, "One year. I'll try for one year. My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc. My aim? To get out of debt. My aim? To empower myself? To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I'm not so sweet? To put time into something I never invested in before: self-love."
