Mark Ronson shared his experience of DJing the wedding in a new interview
"It was a lot of fun," the British DJ and record producer said
Mark Ronson is reflecting on his experience DJing one of the most star-studded weddings of the year.
When Benny Blanco, 37, and Selena Gomez, 33, tied the knot in California on Saturday, Sept. 27, the groom's longtime friend served as the DJ. During his recent appearance on BBC Radio 2's The Scott Mills Breakfast Show, Ronson, 50, opened up about his time at the high-profile wedding.
"It was a lot of fun," Ronson said. "I've known Benny for 10 years, and when he got engaged, he was like, 'Will you come and do your '90s DJ set at my wedding?' And I was like, 'Sure.' "

The Grammy winner gushed that Blanco is "amazing," but joked that his wedding performance might not have impressed all of his celebrity guests. Ronson pointed out that Taylor Swift was at the wedding, but he personally "did not see her on the dance floor."
"So I probably didn't do the best job at selling my services there," he quipped.
He suggested that Swift should hire him as the DJ for her wedding to fiancé Travis Kelce.
"I think there's a lot of people putting themselves up for that gig. I know, me, I am keeping the year open as well 'cause you don't know," Ronson said.
Last month, Ronson officially threw his hat in the ring to potentially DJ Swift and Kelce's wedding. During his appearance on The Tonight Show on Thursday, Sept. 11, Ronson said, "And while we're here, if you guys need a DJ, Travis, Taylor."
Other A-list guests spotted at Gomez and Blanco's wedding include Gomez's Only Murders in the Building costars Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paul Rudd, Ashley Park and Cara Delevingne; her Emilia Pérez costars Édgar Ramírez and Zoe Saldaña; and her former Wizards of Waverly Place costars Jennifer Stone, David DeLuise and Maria Canals-Barrera.

A source previously told PEOPLE that Gomez and Blanco curated the perfect night for themselves and their guests to celebrate their marriage, sharing, "There was so much love in the room."

"At the reception, everyone was letting loose and celebrating them well into the night. The vibe was so much fun," the insider said.
The newlyweds were "glowing all night" and "couldn't stop smiling," the source added.
The reception also featured speeches from Swift, Sheeran, Gomez's mom Mandy Teefey and stepdad Brian, as well as Blanco's parents, Andrew and Sandra Levin.
