The fast food establishment known for its hamburger sliders revealed the most popular menu items ordered between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. in a press release issued on Monday. Sept. 1.
White Castle – affectionately known as Night Castle in its late hours – found from ordering data that several menu items, including the Crispy Chicken Slider and cheese fries, are disproportionately ordered during the predetermined hours.

Chicken Rings, cheese sticks and the Chicken Ring Slider are also more likely to be ordered late at night compared to during the day or in the early evening.
Other late-night cravings include the food joint's desserts-on-a-stick offerings: Strawberry Cheesecake On-A-Stick, Fudge-Dipped Brownie On-A-Stick and Gooey Buttercake On-A-Stick.

"When your stomach says 'midnight snack' and your clock says 'way past bedtime,' you know that Night Castle is ready to welcome you with hot and tasty food, and always at friendly prices. These late-night menu all-stars are made for maximum Crave satisfaction," said White Castle Vice President Jamie Richardson in a statement.
According to the press release, 91% of White Castle locations are open until 1 a.m. or later while 72% are open 24/7 – which Richardson noted is to keep up with demand.
"We know the Crave doesn't keep regular business hours. Whether you're headed home from a concert or a night shift, or just binge-watching that one last episode, Night Castle is your beacon for comfort, flavor and fun at any hour," she added.
White Castle also offers delivery via its app at late hours. Its loyalty program is currently offering two exclusive deals for customers who order between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., through Sept. 7.

One deal includes a $6 Cheesy Cravings Meal, including four cheese Sliders, three cheese sticks, a small fry and a small soft drink, while the other is $5 off in-app delivery orders.
While White Castle is feeding those with late-night munchies, the fast food chain Sonic launched a "Snacky Hour" in August to help customers satisfy their midday cravings.

The food joint announced that visitors can order a corn dog, 2-piece mozzarella sticks and pretzel twists for $1 each during the 3-hour window of 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. every day.
Sonic also hands out half-price drinks from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
